Tactical Laser Tag - Battle Realm

Battle Realm is the next level of Tactical Laser Tag for players wanting a regular program of competition with incentive for superior team performance. In a nutshell, players join a faction in the Battle Realm universe. Each mission played is for control over a specific territory. Territories provide special abilities for the controlling faction. Missions require teamwork to complete the objectives. The results of each battle session will be posted online. In time, regional Battle Realm maps will be connected with others around the country, then the world. Battle Realm play is scheduled to begin in Fall 2008. The first taste of the Battle Realm format will be experienced by participants in the Harrisonburg, VA Parks & Recreation Summer Camp. See Scheduled Events page for more details.
	FACTIONS: Battle Realm will have players divided into six different factions. Initially, players will join either the EMPIRE forces or the HORDE. As the number of Battle Realm participants increases new factions will be added. The Empire has restored order to the Battleverse after 100 years of Chaos Wars. The Imperial Forces are massive but constantly challenged for their territories. Sign up to protect order by joining the EMPIRE! The Horde are a collection of forces that were devastated by the Empire's rise to power. Now united they resent the Empire for forcing all territories to submit to Imperial rule. Join the HORDE to resist Empire control!
	TERRITORIES: The map is divided into territories. Each territory will provide a special ability for the controlling faction (i.e. Infiltration, Garrison, etc). Initially the map may resemble a game board as the "chess-match" of Battle Realm begins. In time, the map will become more detailed and reflect the stories of battles past.
	PLAYER CHOICES: Before each mission players will choose their weapon and/or player class (i.e. Rifleman, Shock Trooper, Commander, Heavy Arms, Medic). Each mission will allow certain choices based on territory and mission type.
