TEAM BATTLE This mission is the first game type played at most events. It is very basic in design and scoring. Children's parties typically play mostly this mission. Each team starts at their base and tries to deactivate as many opponents as possible without getting deactivated themselves. Once deactivated you go back to your base for a "respawn" that enables you to go back into play as a replacement player. Each "respawn" counts as a point for the other team. At the end of the time limit (typically 10-15 minutes) we compare scores to determine a winning team. |

TEAM ELIMINATION This is another simple mission. Unlike Team Battle, though, there are no "respawns." Once you are deactivated you are out of the game. Players tend to play much more cautiously in this mission. Team Elimination is played sometimes at the end of parties and often in tournaments and leagues. |

CAPTURE THE FLAG Each team has a flag at their base they are trying to protect. At the same time they try to capture the opponents flag and bring it back to their base. The first team to score the opponent's flag wins. This mission can be played with or without respawns. Capture the Flag is a staple mission in Pursuit Action Games, like paintball. It can be used in many environments. However, most players prefer Bombing Run. |
||
BOMBING RUN Bombing Run is played with a center position "bomb." Both teams start at their own base. Only players designated as "bombers" can pick up the bomb and advance it toward the other team's base. First team to place the bomb in the opposong team's command center wins. This mission is played with respawns. The bomber has less hit points and requires the team's protection. This mission gets a lot of play with teenagers & adults. It also works in competitive settings. The increased action of a center object and the need to advance it toward the opponent makes it more exciting and challenging than CTF for most gamers. |

KING OF THE HILL This is a great change of pace mission for parties. It is sometimes used in competitive events as well. A "hill" is clearly marked off in the middle of the battlefield. Each team will attempt to gain sole possession of the hill. Holding the hill for 30 seconds earns your team a point. First team to 5 points wins. |

COMMAND & CONQUER Played similar to Team Battle, Command & Conquer adds a twist with each team having a Commander that must fulfill the Commander requirements. The Commander has more health than his teammates but receives no respawns. In fact, once the Commander is eliminated the rest of the team no longer receives respawns either. Protect the Commander! |
||
BASE ASSAULT One team attacks and the other defends the base. This is a time limit mission with specific objectives for the attacking team. |
||
VIP ESCORT One team escorts the VIP to the extraction zone while the other team waits in ambush. |
